I honestly laugh anytime I see people arguing about wether Chishiya is a top or a bottom. First of all, because if that’s all you can think about a character, that’s gross.

Second of all, because I headcanon Chishiya as the biggest asexual you could ever found on this planet.

Let me explain.

I don’t think he’s sex repulsed, but he just doesn’t care and is not interested in it. He don’t feel sexual attraction and is okay with it, because that’s not a big deal to him.

He is a manipulator. And maybe sex could be a way for him to manipulate other easier, but remember that Chishiya has a big self esteem, he wouldn’t sleep with someone because not everyone - and like basically, no one - has the right to touch him. Do you know how intimate being naked in front of someone is ? Chishiya would never.

And honestly, if sex really needed to be part of his plan, he would use someone to take care of it. He is a manipulator. Making two people have sex is not a big deal to him.

Also, he doesn’t like physical touch, so it would be a BIG thing for him to overcome that and accept/initiate intimate touch. Like holding hands, hugs, kisses, ect…

About Chirisu (because sorry, but I will never write something about him and Niragi, oops.)

Even tho Arisu is egocentric, and can really be a little shit who don’t understand why other think a different way than his, we can all agree that he is also deeply caring. And smart enough to understand what Chishiya’s boundaries means.

Arisu would not be the best boyfriend ever, I even think that’s he would be pretty bad at it. But he for sure know how to love and would be here to help Chishiya with it. I don’t think Arisu would care wether or not they have sex, he would, indeed, care about how they feel and what needs they have in their relationship.

And Chishiya is insecure. Chishiya has been neglected. And even if he’s around great and supportive people, like Kuina, I think he has a lot of distance with his relatives and entourage. I know, this has nothing to do with the whole asexual thing, but lemme explain.

Chishiya is not someone who knows who to create real bond with people, because he doesn’t used to care about it and because he grew up without. His asexuality made him even more distant. Because sexual attraction is not something he felt toward anyone, he didn’t give enough time and patience in relationship to love someone.

That’s why it was so hard to accept that he ended up DEEPLY caring about kuina, because he loved her (not in a romantic way) and that’s not something he used to do. That’s why it was so disturbing to love Arisu, because he realize that even if he’s not sexually attracted by him, he put time, patience and care to build something with him.

I think that Chishiya journey through understanding love - wether it is platonic, romantic or siblings way - will be tough and long. There is so much to develop about this that could be way more interesting than smut.
