Update: Safe and sound in Santa Clarita. In the past 2 days we've experienced the most the wild evacuation in my life. Peggy showed me how tough her faith is 😇 she drove over 9 hours bumper to bumper traffic caravaning behind me, ran out of gas, cellphones died, unimaginable cruel selfish people in traffic, dog with diarrhea and no place to pull over, cat vomiting blood and so much more... the big kicker was when we finally found sanctuary last night I tied her cat to the tree while washing the mess from the animals she slipped out of her collar disappearing into the night... Peggy was devastated it was was like the straw that broke the camel's back. We searched and searched until we finally gave up any hope of finding her but God was listening to our prayers 🙏 everyone united in prayer, made us an incredible dinner, Steve slept on floor so Peggy could have a bed and before the night was over someones car headlights caught the reflection of Peggy's cat and returned her safe and sound after we gave up hope! It was a moment that all I could do was break down with tears of joy 😭 if we didn't go through so much we wouldn't have truly appreciated such a miracle from God. Today we're trying to find out if Peggy's trailer survived along with all our friends and family in the area.
