"no not just that he was being an ass like always" she rolled her eyes "i don't really care though i dont want to talk about it"
Ah teen angst "i care, if he's being an ass to you I want to know how so i can tell him off" she was always her priority.
"its fine mẹ" she said then had to admit to herself aswell as her mom, "he hasnt done anything worthctelling off"
Her face softens and she pushes some of Lian's hair back
"im sorry you don't get along"
"its fine, he just doesnt like me" she shrugs
She couldn't necessarily argue with that but "it's not because of anything you did though, it's his own issues"

Jade walks to the living room which had a folder on the coffee table.
It was a simple job, more a day out together than anything serious which has been the form for Lain for awhile now since the pitt

He rubbed his eyes trying to wake up fully.
"no." She wasn't really in the mindset to fix the situation, she was kind of just upset
She did have a bad dream but wasn't going to tell John, not right now at least
Do you want me to leave or something?
He said a bit annoyed but also worried.
"i don't know" she said, also annoyed. Part of her wanted him to hold her and part of her wanted to rip his throat out like any other man
John stood up and went to the bathroom to wash his face and teeth, then he went back.
Im going to stay until you kick me out then.
She was sitting in bed, criss cross and looking at the blankets

John made his guitar appear and started playing a slowish song.
She lays back down and folds her hands over her stomach

He sang softly.

We're on the same page about most things, he knows i check in on Lian, he may not be involved but i still talk about her to him sometimes
He's right id be a terrible mother if i didn't check in Lian.
I trust John but kids can get abused by anyone, even people who are supposed to be safe
