Departure
"Look, Eve, I have to go."
Drust patted the head of his long-term partner, giving her the last attention she would receive from him until he returned. Biting his lower lip, he wondered if his dad would actually keep his promise.
"Don't let dad make you into dinner, okay?"
He rummaged through his pocket until pulling out the tattered paper, once he had folded and unfolded tons of times, so despite it being relatively new, it looked as if he had gotten it over a month ago. He red the worlds out to the cow, Daemon's Court, Rebena Te Ra, Veo Lu Sluice, and took a moment to visualize them all from what others had told him. Veo Lu Sluice sounded like it could be a really pretty place. As for Daemon's Court, all Drust had been told was that it was full of monsters. He gulped slightly, dreading to go their first. As for Rebena Te Ra, Drust had collected a negative feeling towards it. So he wasn't looking forward to that one, either.
With a sigh, he gave Eve one final hug around her neck, eyes stinging and tears threatening to form. He had already said goodbye to his family, and it hadn't been this hard. "I'll see you soon."
Drust grabbed his personal rucksack from the gate where it was hung and jumped over. Unsure as to where the other two members of the caravan would be, he decided to wander around near the entrance of Fum, hoping they'd be able to find him.
