Affordable makeup haul!

So I was in a search for cheap but quality beauty finds and here is what I found. I will post a short review on each item. :)

a. ) Maybelline BB Cream - I love the consistency of this BB cream and the light coverage. However, I noted that it tends to get too oily when you don't use a powder to set the BB cream. Maybe next time I'll try the stick since I have oily skin but nevertheless I like this BB cream. I recommend this for dry to normal skin types of girls. :) Price: 249 Pesos

b.) Nichido Liquid Eyeliner - this eyeliner is the bomb! make sure you have fine motor skills when applying though because the line tends to get jagged when you don't apply carefully. But the quality of this eyeliner is great in comparison to its same prince range peers. It stays long, doesn't smudge, and really makes your eyes pop out. Price: 150 pesos

c.) Nichido Cheek Mousse - This cheek mousse's consistency is the best! It feels really smooth on the face after application. However, since (again), I have oily skin, it tends to wear off sooner than I thought. It really feels light and natural though. I got the lighter shade, maybe if I tried the other (darker) shade, it would last on me longer. Price: 120 pesos

d.) Elf Shimmer Eye Shadow - I was expecting that this would be a really great eye shadow set since it's "Elf", a known quality and affordable brand. However, I was slightly disappointed with it. Its glittery feel is too shiny and the glitters on the makeup seem too big. The container has several neutral shades but they all look the same when applied except for one (the dark olive one). On a positive note, I still use it because it stays longer than my other cheaper eye shadow sets. Price: 97 pesos (on 20% off)

e. My Posh Natural Nail polish - I wasn't expecting much from this product but to my surprise, it really looked good and natural on my nails. Tip: apply double coating so it won't chip off too easily after several days. Price: 19 pesos.
