we put our hearts into making these cool graphics, things we're proud of making, and even though they are for show, it's to promote our silly little brands. Likes are lovely, but they don't do much. It isn't spreading your friend's / mutual's brand around. Some blogs aren't visible in searches for one reason or another; so making little promos for our blogs is how we spread awareness that we are here—that we want to write with people who have similar muses, interests, make new friends!

And that goes without saying that your mutuals should be reblogging your promos, too.

Lately, I've seen people not big up their homies on their dashes, and it's a shame. Please remember to reblog people's promos, not just like them! It's disheartening to see people put so much effort and passion to show off what they have to offer, but getting nothing from it. A reblog goes a long way.
