The Inner Child
There is a child we all know who was lost a long time ago.
When asked for a description it's difficult to give,
They do appear every now and then when no one is really looking or when we're among friends.
The place there hidden is well known it's way down deep in our core.
We are often told to embrace them and let them free the inner child that's in you and me.

Life
There is a question that has been asked, which comes first and which comes last? Is Love and Duty one and the same? Or is Life just an eternal Game? Because in the end No matter from where we came, we are each and everyone all the same. So throughout life, we have to hold on to the joy so we can endure the Pain. - Cladagh
THE HIDDEN FEW
Some live by day and lament during the night for all those things they must fight.
A cheery smile and a friendly wave can hide the emotions that ebb and flow like a mighty wave.
They walk through life step by step towards journeys end into darkness depths.
Into a lifeless embrace towards sleep never felt were they ever here was there presence ever felt.
Respect
The word ‘respect’ is a strange thing. It’s what we all want, but seldom give. They say it has to be earned, by actions showed but by giving it Freely is how the seed is sowed. We all have to nurture it, to see it flourish, and allow it go grow. Respect is a mirror, a reflection of oneself. To put it out there is to show its true worth. When it returns, that is how it is most felt. Respect for each other, and for oneself.

Myself
As I Sit and blow out my candles
I look at the People gathered around me,
and I think of the Path I chose,
The turn I took
the doors I did not open
The People I let in and those I left out.
I realise the Path I take,
no matter how long or short
how smooth or rough it may be.
The Path begins and ends with the one Person I have to like and believe in.
That’s me.

THE BURDEN
Each night alone in the darkness for his soul, he wept .He would not tell the secret that he kept.
It is a burden that he could not share. You could tell that the light in his eyes is no longer there.
With the dawn of each new day, these words he would whisper with my burden i will go forward to greet yet another day.
SMILE
Do you have to be happy to smile? Let me ponder that question for a while.
Can a smile start with a feeling or a thought, perhaps fond memories once forgot .
Does it start deep down and work its way up, or is it always waiting for an opportunity to just show up.
Whatever the reason, whatever the cause I do know this a smile is a smile, a gift for you and for all.
SOUL
Tonight is the night i go for a stroll, not in the woods but through my soul.
We are but a twinkling compared to the stars in the night sky, a mere blink of the universe's eye.
I think of the future and seldom of the past and hope I have done good things in my life that will last.
Does our soul still carry on when our time here is eventually done? I hope the answer is a loud yes because deep in my soul, I know I've tried my very best.

DEPRESSION
To suffer from depression is not a fault it's caused by many things and is fuelled by thought.
The response you hear most often is for you to cheer up. When all you want is to scream for your mind to shut up.
Outward appearance is not a true sign of what really goes on in your troubled mind.
So listen to me, and maybe you'll understand I'm trying to reach out. Please take my hand.
Remember, there can always be ways, perhaps by talking and sharing, maybe the key, the way back to happier days, and a way back to the true me.

Childhood
To be a Child should be a wondrous thing, to see the beauty in the world around you and the joy in all things. To be nurtured in your Journey, by family, love and Kindness, and accepted for the Person who you are meant to be. Who you will be is shared by many Things, but to show love and kindness and respect, are things that you hold Within. So when you pass by a Child, Smile. Heart And Mind
As I look back and gaze at the cross upon the hill, my eyes fall to my mothers grave My heart, mind and eyes begin to fill.
