Touched the strings on this 75 Strat for a few hours... Now, I dream about it each night. My buddy is selling this one and I just don't know if I can swing it. Quacky, sparkly 1960s #Guyatone LG350t tone machine standing in the shadows. Can't throw enough positive vibes at this Japanese trio of pickups and switches. Hear it for yourselves in the video a few days back. How about that full chrome pick guard and switch plate? The thing buzzed like a champ until grounded to the bridge. I removed the fixed term arm for better playability. Looks grooved with it but does better sitting in a drawer for now. She was a filthy mess. Now this 1966 #HarmonyRocket shines and plays like new. The tone and sustain out of this thing is insane given the size of the pickups. These DeArmonds are thinner than a pack of gum and produce a smooth, organic chime that is unique to the #catalogguitar brands. Neck is chunky and straight as an arrow. Got back my 1960s Guyatone LG-130t from the guitar shop and put her through the paces. This thing is a hidden gem, tone machineeee. Plays like a dream with low action and thick C-shape neck. Sounds like a mix between a Jaguar, Strat and Tele. Such a bubbly and snappy tone. I'll post a closeup pic to see the crazy amount of switches, metal pick guard, and quirky headstock. One of my favorite vintage Les Paul finishes is white. The aged yellow it becomes is always unique with no two that are alike. Stopped in @thirdmanrecordsofficial to grab some vinyl and make noise with their in-house rig. The #Framus was light with a silky smooth neck and perfect action. Always wanted to hear the @uniontubeandtransistor Bumble Buzz... it was a plus to play it through Jack's sexy @silvertoneguitars 1484. The fuzz was like a kamikaze bumble bee out for the kill. Like a smooth yet busted out speaker mixed with an arbiter fuzz. At least that my take on it. Pretty pricey stomp box. Walking out the door of Guitar Center when I spotted this beauty in the front office. They were prepping this 65 ES 330 to put up for sale at a nice $3k. Only problem was that the top of the body sunk a little over time. I'm on the prowl for the perfect vintage 330 or Casino but that sunken top makes me want to steer clear. The bridge was adjusted high to compensate. Anyone know if this is a common issue? Also, any advice on getting a P90 equipped vintage hollow body? My dad's friend gave me the lefty P Bass but unfortunately it's uncomfortable to play right handed reverse Jimi style. It's in extreme mint condition with its original hard shell case, hang tags and plastic covering the pick guard. Boss basses sound fantastic. The 68 is full but tight and thumpy.
