Lucifer smiled as he looked up at the sunny sky, people thought he was crazy for wanting to go for a hike in the forest but hiking was just walking and he didn't get what the big deal was.
With his camera in hand he filmed his hike for his YouTube channel. Lucifer normally did videos on many random things, mainly art related but on occasion he did a vlog. His subscribers seemed to like those.
Lucifer: What a beautiful day out here guys! This is Eden National Park, it's just outside of the city limits of Pride County. It's beautiful out here.
Every once in a while he would stop to take photos of some nature or wildlife, make comments as he did and move on.
They say the view at the top is breathtaking, likely from the altitude and also the view itself. Lucifer wasn't sure if he could make it all the way but he would try.
It wasn't until late in the afternoon that he decided he should head back, he didn't want to get stuck in the woods at night.
He turned to leave only...... The trail was gone. How did he get off the path? He swore he didn't stray from it.
Lucifer: This isn't good.....
He pulled out his phone and he had no signal. Damn it.
To make matters worse, he felt droplets fall from the sky. Not wanting to get caught in a down pour he started looking for the path.
Only, doing so made him more lost and turned around than he was before.
The rain started coming down harder, he tried sticking to the trees for cover but they weren't much help.
Lucifer heard a snapping sound behind him, freezing he slowly turned and looked. Two red and black eyes shined in the grey semi darkness, he didn't want to find out what they belonged to so he made a run for it.
He ran for what felt like forever but soon his lungs were burning and he needed more air than he had. Stumbling, Lucifer leaned against a tree to catch his breath but he couldn't.
He patted himself down for his inhaler to help him and he used it, though he still felt dizzy.
Looking up past the trees, he squinted was that smoke? Smoke from a cabin? Maybe they could point him back to the path.
He got back up on shaky legs and made a move for the cabin only to slip and fall hitting his head. Luicfer's world was spinning, why did he go hiking?
Someone, a man came into view though he was hard to make out. But his eyes..... His eyes that literally glowed like the sun stood out and looked down at him, then looked in the direction that Lucifer came from and seemed to glare that way.
The man drew his attention back to Lucifer but he was already feeling himself pass out even as the man called out to him.
