The smallest changes make the biggest difference.
Do you want to make your life better? It’s not alway massive, drastic changes that make the biggest difference in the long term. Try a few of these things for a month, being consistent everyday, and see if it doesn’t help.
-Drink water as soon as you wake up in the morning, at least 16-20 ounces. Keep a glass of water or water bottle by your bed and drink it immediately upon waking. Your body is an engine with water being the lube that keeps everything moving!
-Drink 60-90 ounces of water everyday! Keep the trend going from that first big glass of water. Your body needs water and no other liquid beats it. If you like coffee, that’s cool and you can have a cup, but drink water after!
-Make you bed. It seems like it’s not that big of deal but it helps build a ritual and self-discipline. Plus, climbing into a made bed at the end of the day feel way better than try to make it before you fall asleep.
-Pick a poison to stop eating. Sugar, pasta, fast food, maybe dairy, or any processed food that isn’t good for you, and cut it out of your eating habits. You would be surprised how much wight you will lose if you cut bread and pasta from your food choices for a month.
-Turn off all electronics at least a hour before bed. No cellphone, laptop, or tv before trying to sleep. The blue light from electronics triggers chemicals in your brain to say it’s day time and to stay awake. Dim the lights, relax, and calm your mind before bed!
-Workout. It doesn’t matter where you exercise or what kind of training you do, just do some form of physical activity to get your body moving! Go for an hour long walk, ride a bike, go to gym, or workout at home. Try to get 30-60 minutes of physical activity in each day.
