honestly telugu is such a pretty language i always kind of played it off growing up cause growing up indian you’re like taught to worship hindi ?? not that isn’t a pretty language but there’s that kind of erasure + pressured nationalism that makes you want to hate your regional identities + language + even dialect, i love how beautiful the script is and how the ends of words are usually vowels and how the words slip off your tongue 

Hope you don’t mind me reblogging – I see this so much, it’s sickening. North Indians put themselves on a pedestal of being more ‘Indian’ while shunning us as being uncultured :(
