Setup the extension head on the Godox ad600 pro today. Also modified a 22” Mola Beauty Dish with a Bowens mount adapter and tossed it all up on a superboom stand with the Godox 600pro bag and a counter-weight.

It's time to share one of my favourite fashion photoshoots! SOL-AIR An early morning photoshoot to greet the sun’s warming energy with some creative movement on the beautiful island of St. Kitts.
On my way back to St. Kitts from visiting Nevis (Sister Island) for the first time, Samir and I coordinated last minute plans for a photoshoot via whatsapp. As evening quickly fell, I rushed to my airbnb to pack-up my gear and hit the road on foot. I met Samir on the block and we took a walk down one of the main roads to shoot in front of a mural that I had been admiring.

We were rushing to the location before the sun retreated behind the hill - making it just in time to see the sunlight beam across the plain of the Great House in St. Kitts, I grabbed my lighting and started firing! Shadelle was easy to work with provided some great inspiration for the shoot. A special thanks to Brittany for the assistance and driving us to the location. Thanks to the Great House as well for allowing us to use this interesting location.

As usual, the inspiration for this photoshoot came at the last minute! While I was in St. Kitts this fall, I reached out to see if anyone would be interested in a creative collaboration and thanks to entrepreneur, Winnielle Pereira, I was (virtually) introduced to dance choreographer Carèsse Hanley and her team! We didn't have much time to work with before their dance class began (the only time available to squeeze in a shoot), but with the little time we did have at the Shadwell Great House we produced some great work. To me, the Afrocentric fashion and movement in front of the old colonial building speaks of love's perseverance, resilient being and eternal energy.
Tdot ‘round midnight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I shot this image with my new mobile phone with its #nightmode activated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I did some editing to clean up the image and reduce the significant digital noise and distortion. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What I like the most about the new phone is it’s ability to shoot wide - but the reduced aperture on that lens darkens reduces the amount of light and the transition is noticeable. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Beyond that, the new technology is exciting. Meeting the Prime Minister⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ During my rustic-focused street photography tour in Nassau a number of years ago, the Prime Minister’s motorcade came careening around the corner. I happened to have found a street mirror at that time and it made for some interesting shots. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ To see more from this Rustic Tour, take a look at my linkinbio page. Nassau is a beautiful island, but it’s city streets are just as diverse as the rest of the world.
