[i esp. think you’d like runaways & young avengers! they’re both groups of teen heroes; runaways eventually has a nb poc dating a lesbian and both are mains, young avengers has a canon m/m ship it’s very well known for. ms. marvel is also really good & b/c it’s a brand new character, you won’t need any context to get into it, it’s about a pakistani-american girl from jersey city who’s really new to being a superhero]

[dc] gotham academy (ongoing), batgirl: year one, batgirl (200-2006), batgirl (2008), batgirl (2009-2011), batwoman: elegy, batwoman (2011)

[batwoman is the first series ever to have a lesbian in the titular role iirc, and it’s really good but the original creative team quit b/c dc refused to let the f/f ship get married so r.i.p.]

also! i really strongly recommend image b/c image is a company that publishes individual series (there’s no overall canon tying everything together like w/ dc and marvel; it’s similar to vertigo/dark horse/etc. where every series is a stand-alone) so there’s none of the messy continuity and retconning history to deal w/, also there’s a lot more creative freedom so…more poc more lgbt characters in general. they’re also more likely to be explicit so fair warning
