benrey in the corner:

Gordon and Benrey standing in Gordon’s bedroom, looking at Gordon’s Bed. Benrey says, “yo rad. feetman finally got a bed frame.” Gordon replies, “Y’know this feels less triumphant than I hoped. One-upping you.”

Benrey stretches and yawns, saying, “aight, beddy bye now” to which Gordon asks, “Are you really going to sleep in my new bed before me?”

Benrey ducks down. Gordon watches him, more tired than confused.

Benrey pushes himself under the bed, feet first. Gordon asks, “Wh. Benrey what the fuck.” Benrey laughs a little.

Benrey, with one clawed hand gripping the bottom of the mattress as he disappears into the darkness under the bed and his very sharp teeth glowing the same white as his eyes, smirks and says, “g’night, Freeman.”

Hard cut to Gordon, in the dark, lying on the couch in the living room. He is staring at the ceiling, looking deeply unnerved.

In the reblogged addition, Josh is standing mostly out of frame in the living room, only his space PJs and his hands around a mug visible. Gordon smiles over at him from the couch as they have the following conversation:

Josh: Hi Dad.

Gordon: Hi Joshie. Whatcha got there?

Josh: I microwaved milk.

Gordon: Awesome.

Josh: Did a monster move into the under your bed?

Gordon: Yeah.

Josh: Do you want the broom?

Gordon: Thanks little guy, I’m good. Go back to sleep after you finish that, yeah?

Josh: Okay.
