I get a little angrier every time I think back to the era when “crash out” was a relatively new slang word and I didn’t quite understand how to use it, and google wasn’t up-to-date with slang meanings. I jokingly used it in a sentence (and I used it relatively correctly!) and this popular girl turned to me with the nastiest side-eye and went: “that’s not what crashing out means…” like! i think not watching any CCs of color should be like, incredibly detrimental to ones social status on here. you cant be *that* cool if you only watch white people. i think people who say "you shouldn't 'shame' other people for what they like" should be collectively side-eyed at best (because it sounds like the shame is actually coming from inside the house!). i think it should be incredibly abnormal for an mcyt fan to not have a Black CC in the mix if they're 3+ perspectives. i think people shouldn't post about how they only watch white CCs, like, at all.

i think there shouldn't be any all white smps. i think having an smp or mcrp with one or two people of color in it should be considered odd. i think white CCs should often talk about media they enjoy that doesn't center whiteness. i think it should be normal for white CCs to have moderated book clubs in their discords where nonfiction books on anti racism are frequently read. i think CCs should get to refuse to say "mcdonalds" because they dont want to accidentally do free advertising, instead of refusing to say "Free Palestine"
