not because i dislike wifies, no, actually the opposite. i think wifies had a good character and his arc had ended nicely! if he came back i have to admit i'd be miffed!!! yes an anonymous player in white flow trims sounds exactly like the director but. guys. i think sometimes its okay to let go! i dont think that wifies coming back would be a good writing choice!

For all its faults Tumblr has truly ruined all other social media for me because my friends all have Instagram and are all trying to get me on Instagram more but every time I open Instagram there are like fifteen things screaming for my attention and when I get over myself long enough to start scrolling it's like. Where is my chronological dash. Where is the following-only option. Who are these people. Why are there so many videos. Everyone is screaming at me. And then before I know it I'm thirty minutes into scrolling and I haven't seen a single thing that I actually care about. At least on Tumblr when I see stuff I don't care about I know someone I follow has found a new interest.

ACE AND ARO ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS

the day people understand this is the day I can finally sleep peacefully.

asexual and aromantic are totally different identities. some people are both, and some people are only one.

but for some reason, the only one people seem to ever acknowledge is asexuality. I think a big part of that problem stems from barely anyone even knowing that the aromantic identity exists.

now this is a problem in itself, but something I’ve also seen is people basically turning asexual into an umbrella term for both asexual and aromantic, even though they have totally different meanings.

there are people I’ve seen online describing their experiences being aroacespec. and while obviously this is great, some people are describing the textbook aromantic experience, and yet labeling it as asexuality.

let me just say that you can use whatever labels you want. it doesn’t matter. your identity doesn’t have to make sense. but I can’t help but wonder.. if these people knew what aromantic meant, would they identify that way?

for example, someone described how growing up they never felt romantically attracted to anyone, and didn’t care about gender in hypothetical relationships. this lead to them realizing they are asexual many years later. and there’s nothing wrong with that. but it doesn’t make sense to me, because asexuality is about someone’s experience of sexual attraction, not romantic attraction. an asexual person can absolutely still feel romantic attraction despite being asexual (and they can still feel sexual attraction ofc but yk).

am I missing something? or am I just too woke?
