twelve years ago, when MUSE B started dating one of VENUS MOORE's best friends, VENUS gave them the typical 'hurt my best friend and i hurt you' speech. as most young relationships do, the relationship didn't last and VENUS obviously took her friend's side. nowadays, VENUS' friend and MUSE B's ex no longer resides in cider point, but old habits die hard and VENUS still can't even fake a smile whenever MUSE B is around.

this pair has always been a little weird — seeking out other out for little more than one night stands since the beginning of college, on and off in between tough times and in between relationships like a bad habit. they always find their way back to each others bed and back into their old ways. MUSE B has always ruled the roost with an iron fist, popularity rivaling that of a queen b; RORY MARCHISIO has always been one to let others lead the way and follow along without much of a fight. they're sincerely different at their core, it's hard to believe they even know each other let alone get together on numerous occasions, even starting back up again after a period of silence.

MUSE B hooked up with him at a party and had immediate regret the next day, she even had BRYNN AUGUSTIN help draft up a text turning him down, citing it as a drunk mistake. they were best friends so of course BRYNN helped and heard it for the rest of the week about how MUSE B wasn't even attracted to him and was so embarrassed it even happened. he turned his attention to BRYNN next, and she had never had a real boyfriend before and since MUSE B was very vocal about her distaste for him BRYNN figured he was fair game. she was wrong, almost immediately after making it official MUSE B started sleeping with him behind BRYNN's back. they haven't spoken since she found out but BRYNN wonders if maybe she was in the wrong for going after him after he hooked up with MUSE B first.

BRYNN AUGUSTIN knows how it feels to be stuck in your house alone, not wanting to leave when you're having a bad day. best cure for feeling down on yourself? hanging out with your girls. whether it's clubbing, a girls night in, or drinking wine with a straw while watching the sunset on the beach, it helps get everyone's minds off of the bad vibes. that's why BRYNN enlisted QUINN SAPTAVA, MUSE C, and MUSE D to form an alliance of distraction when any of them were feeling down. bad bitches get sad like anyone else but you can never let a fellow baddie forget who she is.

JOSEPHINE ROSEWOOD always struggled to truly put down roots in her life, and that was the same with her romantic endeavours despite her best intentions. JOSEPHINE and MUSE B are fresh out of a year and a half long relationship, and JOSEPHINE will be the first to say she was to blame for it’s breakdown. her fear of having to leave everything behind, just as she always had, stopped the pair from advancing into anything truly serious. she knows her loneliness is the consequence she deserves for giving in to her fears.

MUSE B and JOSEPHINE REDWOOD’s time was brief, but was marked with dizzying and overwhelming desire. it was self destructive, and never to last, but they didn’t mind at all. it gave them the feeling of having something so all consuming and intoxicating no matter how agonising the feeling was, and without committing and having to be vulnerable to the other. in true JOSEPHINE and MUSE B fashion, they could step away before it felt like it was heading towards anything serious. but that didn’t mean the ending was entirely clean, as much as they’d like to say it was. frustrating and confusing emotions linger here and there that risked getting messy if they were ever to be entertained, it’s probably best to leave their time together in the past.

so MUSE B starts digging. what’s to be discovered? time will only tell.

as a kid during his summer’s in cider point, LEO FOWLER and MUSE A grew closer and closer, before their friendship blossomed into a summer romance as young teenagers. MUSE A thought they could have been something more - they were in constant contact when LEO was back home, whether that be in florida or new york, and they had no reason to not believe they could have been together properly when LEO moved to cider point for good. instead, LEO ended things without explanation, worried about losing MUSE A as a friend and crossing a boundary neither of them could take back. to this day, LEO pretends like nothing between them was ever serious, determined to keep a platonic relationship alive when both of them still, secretly, want more.

LEO FOWLER and MUSE A were thick as thieves for years - when MUSE A was dating his cousin, LEO considered them family. but with his cousin gone now, their relationship never managed to stay the same. they’re both too consumed by guilt and grief over their mutual loss to preserve whatever friendship they had, try as they might. it’s hard to avoid each other, but attempting to pretend like everything is fine makes everything worse. so LEO and MUSE A bumble around each other, awkwardly and painfully, hoping that one day by some miracle they can become close again, though both have lost hope of that happening by now.

MORGAN KASPER never got her driver’s license while living in california, but now that she’s in massachusetts, she’s having a harder time getting around without one. MUSE B has been nice enough to give her driving lessons. the problem is that MUSE B is not a good driver and MORGAN is starting to pick up their bad driving habits.

after WILHELMINA STERLING got out of her first major relationship, she had a fling with MUSE B. there was no dramatic ending to their fling, they both just moved on. now that they’re both adults and both living in cider point again, they’ve decided to give things another try. MUSE B is clearly into WILHELMINA in more ways than physical. WILHELMINA isn’t sure if she feels the same way about MUSE B, but she does like feeling wanted.

BELLAMY KYRKOS and MUSE B hit it off instantly. before they knew it, BELLAMY wound up in MUSE B's bed. BELLAMY knows that hooking up with MUSE B won't solve their problems, but it’s cheaper (and more fun) than going to therapy. let's just hope they can avoid getting attached.

there's always one person on a night out insisting they keep the good times rolling. WINSTON SU is that person. back in los angeles, WINSTON happily offered his own apartment when the bars closed. here? WINSTON has housemates … so he happily offers MUSE B's place instead. 

it's safe to say WINTER NACAR is a little socially unaware. in fact, MUSE B has been hitting on her for months and she's none the wiser, simply happy to be making a new friend! 

WINNIE AMARIN, STELLAN MERCER, and MILES DONOVAN ( m ) all grew up as next door neighbors ( and best friends ). their group really felt complete after KYRA LITTEN and STELLAN started dating in high school, with WINNIE and MILES following close behind. very little could tear their group apart…but STELLAN catching MILES and KYRA cheating with each other certainly did the trick. desperate for any semblance of control, WINNIE marries MILES and she really thinks it's going to work. until she realizes she's staring down the barrel of her parent's mistakes, so she runs away to new york city and serves him divorce papers before their one year anniversary.
