Aside from tech she kept her pulse on pop culture and trends to help keep both Art and the theatre relevant.

BIOGRAPHY

Growing up Virtue would seem like the dream, but Ciara knew people looked at the Winters weird for the family head falling from grace and being Rejected due to running a tonic ring.  What’s more, as she got older her mom told her she was the product of an affair, a man her mom truly loved but couldn’t be with.  It felt like she was the last to know, everyone else in on the secret.

The youngest of five siblings, Ciara has always been about finding her own path, not really caring what anyone else expects or wants of her.  Because of this, she followed her dream of becoming an inventor, always fascinated by the various tech throughout their city and the ways it can be changed and incorporated into daily life.  But god she was not going to be a stuffy Virtue Queen.  She wanted to make things that were fun and exciting.  That sparked the imagination instead of stifling it. She does miss her mom, though, being the sibling always closest with her.

At 12 Ciara met Art as he was visiting the city, and the two quickly bonded.  Given he was well into adulthood the stranger-danger warning bells should have gone off, but he was always with his younger sister and Ciara liked to think she was good at reading people. Given the awkward history in her family, Ciara wasn’t super close with her older siblings aside from Charlie.  Yet something about Art and Violet felt like home.  Art especially was the brother, the father figure she didn’t know she craved.

When he came back permanently and wanted to open up a theatre, Ciara made it her mission to work on new tech and inventions to boost the experience and make Riot the best damn entertainment venue in all of Hiraeth. Meeting the cute popstar Aiko on the job was truly the cherry on top.

Bio

In the Winters family there is a closely kept secret: the youngest child is only a half-sibling. When Ciara was three her 'father' found out and it was a nightmare of anger, screaming, pain. Their neighbor was able to intervene before things got horrible, a respected cop in Hiraeth and a friend of the family. That was the last the Winters saw of their patriarch as he was carted off by the police. No one explained to Ciara what happened, why their father had to go away.

The secret reared its ugly head once more a little over a week after Ciara's 10th birthday, a full moon taunting her from the clear night sky. Most of the night and the following days were a blur. Ciara woke up in a house she'd never seen before, but before panic could overtake her her neighbor came to greet her. He was the one to break the truth to Ciara. He was her biological dad, and for the last 10 years he prayed that he didn't pass on his curse to her.

The truth was a lot to handle, especially at 10, but it also explained so much in her life. Why her siblings loved her but kept a distance. Why her mom sighed wistfully when she insisted on brushing out Ciara's curls. As tears started to build her neighbor, no, her dad, offered a small smile. He told her that it wasn't all a curse. That she now had a second family that would watch out for her, always.

Ciara is close to a number of her packmates, particularly Reuben, Oakley, and Don. However, she can't stand the rich bitch Laurie and will often openly mock her. But if anyone outside of the pack says something about the other blonde, claws will come out.

Childhood Best Friend

You wouldn't guess looking at them, but Ciara and Izzy clicked instantly when they met in Kindergarten. Izzy kept Ciara out of trouble and Ciara helped Izzy out of her shell. After her tenth birthday it was hard to keep such a secret from her best friend, but the pack made her swear to tell no one unless absolutely necessary. She missed sleepovers, birthday parties, all because of that stupid moon. Ciara hated coming up with excuses, the lies heavy on her tongue. But she always tried to make it up to Izzy the week after. Now her best friend is getting married and Ciara couldn't be happier. She just prayed they didn't pick a wedding date close to a full moon.

Maybe Not Best But Still Damn Close

While Izzy may be her best friend, Violet and Ciara were also thick as thieves growing up. Izzy may have kept her out of trouble, but Violet encouraged Ciara's rebellious streak, and the two often found themselves in tight situations. But it was never something they couldn't laugh about later, even when grounded for the foreseeable future.
