Leslie A. White

Born January 19,1900-March 31, 1975. I lived in Lone, Pine California. I focused on my theory's on cultural evolution, sociocultural, and most importantly Neoevolutionism. I implemented a law that was consisted to be “whites law”. Throughout my life as an anthropologist, I have proved to people around the world that there is so much.

I believe that culture evolves from technology. As I stated “We may view a culture system as a series of three horizontal strata: The technological layer on the bottom, the philosophical on the top, and the sociological stratum in between.” Technology is meant for survival. Laws of cultural development is; E= energy, T= technology, and C= cultural development. That is my most important theory. 

This is a scale that usually symbolizes law. I have created “Whites Law” for cultural evolution. My law states that culture evolves as the amount of energy harnessed per. Capita per year is increased or as the effeciency of the instrumental means of putting the energy to work is increased.
