Bo’ Rai Cho is his and the earthrealm defenders’ mentor (including Raiden). Instead of being a soldier, Jax works for the special forces as an engineer. He was in the army when he was a teenager to get free college but left the second he got the chance. He’s extremely gifted when it comes to technology and is kinda like a celebrity for nerds. Another thing that’s different is that Shang Tsung works for the O.I.A before he turns evil. He’s highly jealous of/ fascinated by Jax. Even when he’s given objective evidence that Jax is smarter than him he still doesn’t want to believe it due to his ego. I’m definitely gonna write about them cause their dynamic is super interesting. also in this au Kenshi’s clan is being hunted down by Quan Chi for Sento. Taria isn’t controlled by the Yakuza in this au, they’re fully independent and have no connections to them. I based Taria culture off of Ainu and Inuit culture, I’ve done research but I will definitely do more and dedicate a whole other post to Taria culture in my au. Quan Chi raids the village, killing dozens of Tarians and stealing sento. Kenshi’s father and older brother die in the massacre leaving him and his mother. He only joins the earthrealm squad to find sento.
