for those curious (esp @ryoulan!), this event was Some Bullshit. given all the drama that happened before the actual day (here), you'd think that the organisers would at least want to put on a good show to stick it to everyone who got refunds? lol. lmao, even. he sang 6 songs (2 at the start, 2 in the middle, 2 at the end) and like. ok whatever. milking him for all he's worth, whatever, it's your money. there were some weird issues with the rising platform which i can't tell were planned or not? there's one part of the show where it drops quite quickly into the belly of the stage and he steps off in the nick of time. it looked kind of dangerous but idk 🤷 nothing confirmed
that alone would be enough for a hotsearch, but bigger issues awaited. @ the middle section, the technicians deadass played the wrong audio for 缝合? im serious zs had to stop after the first few lines and say Wait Haha. This Is The Studio Version, Not The Background Track! Can We Start Over Please?? i'm speechless. who DOES this. and the worst part is still to come.?.??.?.?.?
@ the last 2 songs, it started to pour. he is wetter in these videos than u will normally ever see him, even when it rains during his concerts. there was another hiccup w his rising platform (it rose up a couple inches so his head poked up onstage, and then ?? went down again??? before rising back up the whole way). not really important. what dumbfounded me tho was when zs (after very obviously trying his best to shake the Ten Million Litres of rainwater off his mic) got to the 大鱼尾巴, his mic???? stopped working?????

hi anon!! unfortunately i cannot supply you many answers because to be honest i am still so confused as to why He Would Say Any Of This myself. the long short of it is that around the time this 大鱼海棠 event started ramping up its publicity, 大鱼海棠's director came out of nowhere with this personal essay of a wb post which i am STILL trying to make heads and/or tails of. here are screenshots of it on my main and yes u may need google translate bc it is 9 million words long. deadass it is longer than the 2025 yangshi cny setlist do u know how long it has to be to achieve this.
he just goes on and on and i don't really get his point but in the mess that was ?? that post?? he did say words to the effect of 'zs was my third choice for 大鱼. i wish Wang Fei sang it instead' WHICH. ok???? firstly this is not new i think a lot of people knew this. secondly WHOOOOO let him say that. me when my event attendance is 85% this fanbase which i will piss off completely unprompted. i will die if i don't bring up random fandom discontent from a decade ago and say Hey I Really Supported This. who did he think he was appealing to what did he think he was doing

going in, i had really really really wanted to get my hands on at least one armband.. i would've snagged more than the two i have now if i had seen any!! and the ZS thing is a 蓝管 stand (some guy's 伸手, if you can believe it) (looking at these pics, i think i should've included that zs photocard with the butt squishy that i was gifted @ day 1 whahdh) (sentimental value)
+ my own 物料 (21 pairs of earrings (x) + 9 bracelets (x) + ~30 magnets which were 伸手)!!! i went to shenzhen having resolved that i wouldn't bring anything back which i had set out with hhahsha and i didn't let myself down!!! did save one bracelet, though, because i figured it would be smart to have a backup in case any of the charms on my own go missing.
