Preface: The Royal Dispatch, Authorized
The Guild’s official newspaper, The Royal Dispatch, exists to inform with dignity and precision. Or it did — until certain contributors began treating it as a stage for scandal and self-indulgence.
Effective immediately, all columns authored by Princess Audrye Deveraux will pass through my supervision as Laurean Scholar. My task is not to silence her work — the Guild values her reach — but to ensure that what reaches the page is accurate, restrained, and fit for publication.
This archive will therefore serve as a record of those authorized versions as they appear in The Royal Dispatch.
Consider this the distinction: what you read here is official. What you encounter elsewhere under her name should be assumed… unreliable.
Accuracy requires discipline. Discipline requires oversight. Consider this archive that oversight.
