My Tumblr pretty much exists to follow people who post about Nick Cave, Neubauten, Doctor Who, David Tennant, science, art, history, literature and linguistics stuff. (Facebook and email tend to take up most of my electronic talky time, so I don’t interact much on Tumblr these days). I’m not tagging anybody on this since I’m pretty sure my followers are here for the rare Nick Cave photos I occasionally post (since that’s all I’ve ever actually posted!) but if anybody wants to do it, tag me and hello to you!

Fictional Character: Tough one…since I’m in such a DW phase lately, I’ll go with The Doctor and Donna Noble.

Books: I don’t think I could even pick a top 100! I read fiction and nonfiction pretty equally. I’ll name a few random favorite authors off the top of my head: Dostoevsky, David Wong, Douglas Adams, Chekhov, Flannery O’Connor, Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, the Bronte Sisters, Carlotte Perkins-Gilman, Neil Gaiman, William Golding, Cormac MacCarthy, James Joyce, Edith Wharton, Oscar Wilde. When it comes to nonfiction, I like to read about science (particularly space stuff, brain stuff, evolution stuff), history of all kinds (including art history stuff, archaeology stuff, monarchy stuff), language stuff, music biography stuff, etc. Lots of stuff.

Anime: I’ve never watched any.

TV show: Doctor Who (RTD years in particular), Peep Show, The Thick of It, Black Books, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I also used to love Buffy, Carnivale, and quite a few others, but haven’t viewed them recently. I’d probably still dig them, though. Oh, and there was this really cute show called Spirited that I had quite a moment with.

Favorite Beverage: Coffee and water are neck and neck.

Favorite Food: Not gonna lie, I'm all about the pizza.

Last movie I’ve seen in cinemas: RSC’s Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Dream Holiday: #1. Wander the globe looking at ruins/gazing upon magnificent vistas/visiting museums (particularly in Europe and Egypt). #2. Outer space, but since this is a dream holiday it is magically super safe and totally reasonable to travel there right now. #3. Time travel to go see a bunch of great concerts and plays I’ve missed. (Yes, I am really stretching this dream holiday concept.)

Dream Wedding: I imagine this unlikely event would be a pretty low-key affair, with close friends and lots of music.
