fueled by coffee

block 2 is finally over!! i have a 3-day break before the next block starts and i already have it planned out :))

last exam for the block is finally coming up. i just really want this week to end. this is probably the most exhausting block ever since online classes started and i can’t wait for it to be over :))

finally bought a keyboard cover for my g14 to keep the dust away. i’m amazed at how perfectly it fits and how it blends almost seamlessly with my laptop. i got the black one because i was missing my old black-silver macbook color scheme a lot :’)

unhurried mornings >>>

it’s a holiday today so i’m trying to save this day for myself. i learned to accept that it’s okay to not be productive sometimes. we are so used to the ‘grind’ mentality that we often forget to take some time off for ourselves to do things we actually enjoy doing. the productivity guilt may keep breathing down my neck all day but i’m learning to ignore it little by little.

last exam of the week tomorrow. tbh i am spent and i just really want this block to end 🙃

rainy days and deadlines really don’t go so well. but on the upside, i found a great playlist that is absolutely perfect for the weather (link) :)

ahh yes the ultimate coffee that gives me that extra kick to take on another pre-deadline day. it’s aptly named, ‘damn strong viet coffee’ and hoo boy they weren’t kidding

also, i finally upgraded my desk! it’s still the same table i’ve been using (i really didn’t want to purchase another one) but i got a bigger wooden counter top to put over it to increase my workspace a little :D

i’ve always valued my quiet sunday mornings—the calm before the pre-monday storm when we rush to get ourselves together before taking on another week

it’s the start of the new block and i’m taking up radiology and veterinary epidemiology this time. i also moved my setup around and i feel like this one’s comfier. compared to my study space at home, i only have a relatively smaller table here so a laptop, rather than a full pc setup, seems like the right choice.
