☆ adopted by the dreemurrs at age 5, kris was never like everyone else. they talked to themselves instead of others and only liked the company of a few, like their brother and the holidays

☆ their parents' divorce was messy and scary. they were afraid to get in the middle of the yelling, and their mental state only worsened

☆ now, they're convinced an otherworldly being is controlling their actions. there are spots in their memory, and their friends all say they're acting weird

SUSIE, age 17

☆ in the past, susie moved around a lot. now that she's in hometown, she's finally starting to feel comfortable with herself

☆ she feels safer with kris and ralsei than she ever has, and is coming into herself...albeit, with the occasional hiccup

☆ while she is the defensive type, it's become less of herself and more of her beliefs. without those, she isn't sure who she is

☆ after years of being alone in his castle town, he's grappling at straws to get anyone to come see him

☆ the emergence of a new dark fountain - that's perfect, right? a chance for some new heroes. after flipping through old tomes, he finds a prophecy, not knowing when it's meant to happen
