Summary: Bucky Barnes is a sight for sore eyes and he doesn’t know it. She is a sunflower in a sea of roses. Just give it another year, and a flurry of 11 soft moments and 1 heartbreaking one. 

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Fem!Avenger!Reader (poc intended)

Steve: Yeah and the first page said “Steve Rogers was a nosy bitch since way back”

Bucky:

Sam maybe leaves a couple things, then waits while Bucky produces weapon after weapon until Sam just eyerolls, shakes his head, and walks off to do whatever. The rest of the scene has Sam carrying on whatever mission and occasionally it cuts back to Bucky still discarding weapons, or you’ll get a glimpse of him in the background still at it. It gets absurd. There’s just an ungodly amount of weapons and it’s to the point where the audience has to wonder where he’s even taking them from.

Sam gets almost finished with whatever he’s doing and is about to have to go tell Bucky to pick everything back up so they can leave but then a (possibly even unrelated to either of them) fight breaks out and Bucky looks vaguely annoyed, glancing over the massive pile of weapons and deliberately selecting something before jumping into the fray. the ensuing scuffle is ridiculous and beautifully choreographed and is amazing and tense and just. fantastic.

A/N: I’m so sorry this took forever to write lmao. I hope you like it, anon! 

Okay, so first things first: I’m an Avenger. Now I may not look like it, I know, people said that before, but believe me, I am. As an Avenger, of course I live in the Stark Tower. You know, that annoyingly bright and skyscraper-like building in the middle of Manhattan (please don’t tell Tony I said that). And sometimes in that particular tower, things can get pretty hectic and I need something to keep me grounded. Well, maybe some things. 

I love hobbies. I’ve been doing a lot of activities that people consider a hobby and tried pretty much everything. I’ve tried drawing, not so good at that though I’m pretty good at the coloring part; also tried boxing which Steve was pretty excited about; tried another one called skiing but you can’t really do that in the middle of summer. Okay, you get the idea. And the one that managed to catch my eye was baking. 

After a ridiculously long and boring meeting, I’d bake. Before long flights to missions, I’d bake and share them with my fellow ass-kicking buddies. When I’m bored, I’d bake. Before movie nights, the ones you guys call Avengers (they’re actually 5-year-olds with super powers) would ask me to bake, and I happily would. 

So naturally when Bucky Barnes joined the lot, he picked up quite a few of my cupcakes.
