Apparently to my dread upon discovery, I've found an early conceptual description and early concept artwork for (Goyen) Noreen Sugoi with a description revealing that she was originally supposed to be the main antagonist unwittingly under the influence of the crown hidden in the Banner Cup (changed to the Banner's Helm) and a descendant of the academy's founders (initially named Castlestone before it was changed to Kal Asterock).
Yes, while she's still the Dragons' team coach in the final cut, and she does care about Key with the fact that she was close friends with his late mother Edina, I did not sense a shred of deception from her so far (and I don't hope there is deception or ruse from her when I watch the next slate of episodes coming up), nor did she play a factor in Edina's tragic death as Edina died saving her and everyone else. Plus, she's one of the four Goyens and she's actually the headmistress rather than a vice-principal as what was originally stated. With that said, I don't believe she's going to be the main villain. I refuse to believe it, yet the other Goyens showed venomous behavior towards the Knights (even with Surya's resentment over Key) thus far, although there still lied the possibility of the hidden depths that Sugoi may have, but still.
I don't know if this points to any legit major spoilers in the final product, especially taking place beyond the first 11 episodes despite having a few accurate points revolving around being the Dragons' coach and her chemistry with Key (not sure if she actually will be the culprit of being the leech taking away others' tamas like Falco but I highly and dreadfully doubt it), but I really hope they do not drink from that cup or go down that route of making Sugoi a twist villain or go Doctor Doom or whatever, as she seems like the kind who would not pull off a shocking villainous turn (I hope she stays good).
Sugoi's design before and after btw:
All that aside, in Sugoi we trust.
