“Will we?” she asked, letting out a small sigh.

“We will,” he nodded, pressing a kiss to her cheek.

She grimaced slightly when he pulled back, not necessarily at him but just in general. “Fuck,” she cursed. “I hate this.”

“I know, And I’m not saying that’s what I want. I just..I don’t know, got lost in the moment.” she nodded, sliding out of the chair so that she was level with him on the floor. “I’m fine,” she continued, moving to try and kiss him once more as though it would prove her point.

“You just…” she started, trying to remember what it was that had set things into motion. “I don’t know, you were being you. And it was so good. You were looking at me like I was the only person in the world. And it felt so right. For a moment it just felt like nothing had happened. Like everything was still the same. And then that moment ended.”

“It’s not,” she shook her head. “I was fine. I am fine. I just… need to ignore it. That’s all. There’s nothing that you can do to change it. You’re already doing enough as it is. I miss being with you. Merlin, I don’t think I’ve ever missed something so much.”

“It’s fine. It’s my problem, I’ll get over it. We can just keep going,” she shook her head, decidedly trying to ignore what had happened, “I just needed a moment. That’s all.” 

“I did too,” she nodded. “I do. I just… Everything was totally fine and then I started thinking about things and suddenly. I just kept thinking about it.”

“I just…” she shook her head, letting out a sigh in frustration. “I want things to be normal again.”

“No, of course not. You…You’re perfect,” she whispered, her head resting on her knees but turning it so that she could look at him. “It’s my fault.”

She was quiet as the door opened, buttoning up one of Christopher’s shirts she’d picked up from the floor of the bathroom as she sat down on the plush chair in the room. “I don’t either,” she replied quietly, pulling her knees up to her chest.

Sienna closed the door quickly behind her, letting out a sigh in frustration. Turning on the water, she quickly splashed some water on her face as she tried to get a hold of herself. Shutting off the water, she was quiet as he spoke. “It’s not your fault,” she sighed after a moment, moving back to unlock the door. “It’s my fault…”

Sienna laughed as Christopher kissed her, falling back onto the bed. Everything seemed to be going well until he touched her lip, the sensation all too familiar. Trying to push past it, she pulled his face back down to kiss, but immediately had images of him sitting on that bed only months earlier that had unraveled her entire world.  “Christopher…” she murmured against his lips, shifting slightly but not necessarily distinguishable as any sort of warning. “Christopher, no,” she said again a bit louder when his hand tugged at the hem of her skirt, pushing him lightly off of her as she moved to lock herself in the bathroom. “I…I need a minute.”

“Good,” she murmured against his lips, laughing as he pulled away. “Chris,” she gasped lightly as his mouth moved, her hand moving to his hair. “Kiss me, please,” she murmured after a moment, pulling him back up to her lips. 

“Something tells me that you like it,” she teased, shifting her weight slightly on his lap as further proof of the matter, her arms moving to rest loosely around his neck as her bra fell between them. She bit her lip slightly, trying to ignore the slight rush of vulnerability she felt at this new-old stage in their relationship.

“Well then, you have hands, don’t you?” she asked with a laugh, raising a brow as her hand moved to knot itself in his hair, tilting her head back as he kissed her.  

“That’s…good-” she hummed in between kisses, laughing lightly as he kissed her. “I suppose that means I don’t have to take anything else off, then.”

Her smile widened as he pulled off his tie, clearly pleased with the decision. “I’ll definitely have to make this worth your while then,” she laughed, pulling him towards her by the hem of his shirt.
