So, this fic:

This is a new fic idea I thought up back in May (you can read the details in the dedication) and I figured it was too good to resist, so, here we are. It's a Laura Ingalls/Arthur Morgan kina slow-burn fic that is also a Reconstruction Era AU, but, the whole gang is there, just aged down by like 4 years. The exception to this is Laura who is 18 and Arthur who is 28.
Summary:
Laura Ingalls was never one to imagine a grandiose version of her life, even if she dearly wished for the occasional adventure or two. No, she was to remain forever in the tiny, neat little box of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, with her dreams only being realized in dime novels and endless speculation.
But, the world has a funny way it handles dreams, and she had never known that fact well until the morning of June 15, 1875.
