Around him not racing Sunday. Or ever again. Of never seeing him in a race car again. If you asked me what was more likely, that or Hogwarts being real, I think I would say Hogwarts.

Like I get it. He's dead. It's not denial. I will adjust.

It's just so shocking. So sudden. Like I woke up this morning, a Steam email reminded me today was House Flipper DLC day and so I played 30 minutes then when I checked Twitter he was hospitalized with a severe illness but like. It's Kyle Fucking Busch.

How did he die in less than ten hours?

He won a race six days ago. He was doing better with his new Cup crew chief.

And now it's just over.

I don't know Nascar without Kyle. My first season I truly followed was his broken leg season. I remember Kes' blog post about how their rivalry started and how horrible he felt about the injury or without Kyle on track or something. The season Brex and Scarlett was born. It was always Brad and Kyle.

And now they're never going to orbit each other again.

My heart goes out, most of all, to Samantha and the kids. He and Sam tried so hard with IVF to have kids and they are so young to suddenly lose their dad. But also Kurt. Both lost their careers so suddenly and so cruelly. And their parents, obviously. But also, the entire garage.
