Truth!

It's not just organized denominations with this problem. I (admin A, page founder) pulled my family out of church because one Sunday on the way there my kids described the kind of abuses they were enduring at the hand of an elder's daughter who was a Sunday school teacher. The abuse had gone on THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH and my kids just believed the abuse was what church was. No one ever asked my kids what they went through. Instead they told me not to talk about it. They told me to come back and "work it out" without ever acknowledging what happened or holding the abuser accountable. The church closed a couple years later. But the abuser still works with children in a religious day care. (Or so I last heard...) https://ift.tt/T6EhD4F
