I went to a screening of the Bones Brigade, An Autobiography last week [www.bonesbrigade.com]. It served as a reminder of why I loved skating so much when I was younger.

I imagine, Like everyone else who watches it, I was startled at how odd a character Rodney Mullen is. I guess it takes a troubled genius to basically invent every skateboard trick in the book!

It got me to thinking about skating and these two images are the result of evenings worth of quick experimentation.
