Rough AU Timeline
I've started compiling together the timeline so I don't confuse myself and I stop confusing all of you. It and some CH anatomy/lore will be put in a Google Doc I'll link to in the near future :)
1876 – Soviet’s “birth” (Borne of the earth).
1894 – Soviet meets Mother Russia in a bar and falls for her almost instantly.
1901 – Soviet and Mother Russia get married.
1907 – Russia is born.
1911 – Ukraine and Belarus (twins) are born.
1914 – Mother Russia dies, Soviet begins to change.
1917 – Russian Empire is killed by Soviet, revealing RE was behind Mother Russia’s death. Russian Revolution. Soviet’s resolve is shattered, and he shuts down from raising his kids, leaving the raising to 10-year-old Russia.
1918 – WWI ends.
1922 – Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is established.
1945 – End of WWII, America and Russia first meet.
1947 – Cold War begins.
July 4th, 1970 – First American political assassination, the mayor of New York, New York was shot dead by an unknown assassin (presumed to be Russian (was actually Russia)).
1980s – Second Red Scare. Paranoia in America rises. Political assassinations are a monthly occurrence. Celebrities are regularly jailed over communist suspicions. America himself is practically bedridden with migraines.
1988 – Ukraine escapes the USSR with the help of the Baltic States. All but Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan follow suit.
1989 – The Berlin Wall falls and Western and Eastern Germany reunite and become whole.
1990 – Rumors of political siege begin to spread. The US government is completely shut down as politicians flee. The military is incapacitated as the government shuts down.
December 24th, 1991 – Liberation Day.
