If you’re young, the easiest way is to try to study abroad. It’s easy to get over to Japan for half a year or more, you can usually even work a part-time job while on your school visa. It’s obviously very pricey to do that, but it’s the most fluid option. 

Your other option is to get a job teaching in Japan. The market is competitive; I’ve been trying for years and can’t land a job with my ideal company. But you don’t need many skills beyond a bachelor’s degree to get a job in Japan. But I also wouldn’t recommend even an ALT job to someone who doesn’t legitimately enjoy working with children/teens, or otherwise, someone who doesn’t like or want to teach. You’ll get to Japan, and be able to use your language skills, but you’ll likely have a bad time. 

The easiest method of continuing your Japanese language learning is to use a social network. Find a talking-partner who wants to learn English, and you can trade your knowledges. Beyond that, branch out your Japanese language knowledge toward things that interest you. Try to read manga in Japanese, consume Japanese media, etc. You have lots of options in that regard.
