A Doctor Strange piece that I started nearly a year ago and finally finished about a week ago. Never realized how ridiculously intricate his outfit was until I looked at close-up references... I definitely left out details, lol. I used to draw a lot of BBC Sherlock fanart, and it was interesting to draw a different version of Benedict Cumberbatch’s likeness.

Here's a shy Steve Rogers, a third addition to my slowly developing Marvel pin-up series! I figure he must've felt pretty awkward going from a guy who couldn't easily get a date to someone surrounded by showgirls on a regular basis... (and let's assume no one bothered to give him his own change room, ya?)

My goal is to draw at least 12 pin-ups… so I can make a calendar some time in the future, eh? ;) I’ll be tagging all these under #chrisbexigamarvelpinups

Not my character design! Drew this as an interpretation of Rebecca Ninig’s “drawthisinyourstyle” challenge from her instagram. See my instagram post (and swipe) to see the lovely original drawing I based this on. It was interesting to reference a stylized portrait instead of a photograph, and I like what direction my style took for it. I’d really enjoy trying this challenge again! Or maybe I’ll give my own character a shot.

Drew this after watching Lucifer’s season finale... It would be devastating to rip the wings off this show after that excellence! In case there’s any hope for renewal, fans need to please share/tweet support and watch the episode when it airs for you! Please help cancel this cancellation! T^T

I wasn’t advertising to do sketches at the @calgarycomicandentertainmentexpo last weekend, but I was easily convinced to draw Bucky for a couple lovely ladies who already got my T'Challa print. I referenced his look from… Infinity War… T^T Definitely out of practice with traditional media, but was glad to give it a shot. \o/

So… I’m starting a sensual series of pin-up pieces involving Marvel characters, haha… Here’s my second, Bruce Banner! With residual Hulk. I was inspired by this intricate outfit he had on in Thor: Ragnarok - what lovely beads! (But such a pain to draw…)

Well I think the idea’s supposed to be that he hasn’t ever transformed back on Sakaar until Thor gets to him, but I like to imagine that he sometimes got into a peaceful enough state in his sleep… dreamless or not…

Well, guess what I saw in theatres recently? ;) I’ll likely scribble up a bunch more of the amazing cast… at least I’ve the urge to. Needless to say, what an inspiring film! Did this quick and rough, since I should be drawing other things… but I actually like the style better than my refined stuff, as usual... OTL I couldn’t settle on a single look so here are three versions - gif form and individually. I’d be interested to hear what piece others prefer! Anyway, expect more Black Panther pieces in the future! \o/

So here’s a scene I got in my head after seeing the trailers for Black Panther and Infinity War! \o/ I’m super excited to see the fantastic Wakandan wardrobe designs, along with the new arm Bucky will be showing off! Though, uhh... what I drew is far from accurate as I could only find fuzzy screenshots to reference, lol... Had to BS most of it... and I definitely exaggerated the gold bits! Anyway, I originally hoped that Tony Stark would be the one to replace his arm with a fresh design, to be a bright new starting point between them - but I’m pretty happy with the idea of T’Challa gifting him this during his recovery period. Great way to make up for scaring him so badly in Civil War, eh? ////

I started just an eye to get a better hang of digitally painting with colour (I usually go for b&w)… and ended up with Harry Potter fanart… >_> I adore Daniel Radcliffe but didn’t reference him at all here - went with the canonical green eyes and decided his scar should look more severe. I actually love depictions where his scarring looks more like natural tendrils of lightning, but after finding out the wand movements of the Avada Kedavra curse I can appreciate this basic bolt shape. I’ll stop with the Harry Potter babble now, lol…

A digital painting of young Luke Skywalker. I haven't done this style for a while, wanted to practice. Will probably be inspired to paint more Star Wars characters as the new film gets closer! I might reference Mark Hamill in the latest film to accompany this one... I think it's pretty incredible that he's back in the same role after so long!

l probably have to wait a while to watch the new Thor movie so in the meantime I drew another character from it... Lokiii! Looking forward to all the ridiculous (and embarrassing) antics he gets involved with in Team Thor... or The Revengers? :D

“Sam’s Suffering”

Now that the @supernaturalartbook has been printed and is getting into backers’ hands, I can share my contribution! I was placed in the “Demons & Hell” category and depicted Sam Winchester with reference to his history, and in a form inspired by this intriguing statue of Lucifer(x). I got my own copy as well, and what a wholly fantastic book! I’m happy I got to be part of such an immense and charitable fan-made project, alongside so many talented artists!

The new trailer for "Thor: Ragnarok" has me super hyped! :D I love his helmet design... and his lightning eyes, couldn’t resist drawing that! Can’t wait to watch all the awesome ridiculousness!
