all we need to look at is the cinematography, and you can see a clear difference between scenes with jae eon+nabi and potato+nabi.

scenes with jae eon are just mesmerizing. the camera focuses on his hands and clearly on his eyes and the way he gazes at nabi. these scenes are slower and more intimate. it’s been like this since the beginning, jae eon represents the female gaze and how much he made a mark in nabi’s current romantic views.

nabi usually gets nervous which creates an inner monologue. she begins to overthink and stumble on her words. she’s well aware of his body and his eyes, the placement of his hands. this just goes to show how much of an effect his presence does to her as a whole. she likes him.

scenes with potato and nabi together are quite… bland. as well as they get along with each other, he’s just someone that’s there and the cinematography clearly shows that when you compare it to scenes with nabi and jaeon. she’s comfortable with potato like a friend, and she’s “uncomfortable” with jae eon in a way where he makes her heart simply flutter and make her overthink(but clearly not in a good way anymore lol).
