When I watch bodycam footage or "Karen" videos it stands out to me how often law enforcement officials refer to property as the defining factor when it comes to protection even when dealing with mundane and minor infractions. They condition regular people into thinking that property stands above dignity, health, freedom, and bodily autonomy. That´s why the trend to remove the opportunity to acquire property is extra perfidious. First they train you into thinking, that owning stuff is the most important thing and then they tell you, that you can´t own stuff anymore.
