I actually have a whole plot that involves ALL kinds of prototypes in the doll universe with a specific group of dolls find out about the truth of the factory and they find out how each doll type came into stock, and many backstories for all prototypes(especially lou), but that's for another time.

ANYWAY! This is actually my own personal lou design that can explain why lou looked the way he did after the dolls threw him in the recycling.

In my storyline, he was originally made from pure stuffing, (you can see the background of this from my #nicholasau tag) but when the factory took lou in, they redesigned him to be a more proper and stiff looking doll that was specifically not made for public consumption. Here's a comparison between Lou and the rest of the dolls!
