PCT Szczecin Day 2: Eventing

Day 2 of our competition in Poland dawns bright and early for Dimiti and Matilda, with both having horses in the first class of the day - the CCI 1*. Thankfully for Dimiti at least, she was up first of the two - which meant that she would have plenty of time to relax back at the stalls with Gibson before their class last thing before lunch.

----- It was a quick turnaround for Matilda though, barely an hour between her CCI 1* ride with Virgil at 8:30am, to her CCI 2* ride with her main boy Manta at 9:35am.
Just time to quickly down an energy drink and a fruit and nut bar before a quick pre-ring groom before saddling up and heading to the warm-up area.
She told Dimiti afterwards that she's glad she didn't have her usual heart rate monitor on during her ride - she said it's quite possible it would've been sending some sort of alarm!

Finally, to finish off the day for Team Sycamore it was Dimiti and her Olympic hero Gibson in the CCI 3*.
Overall, a good day had - and gives the show jumping team a tough act to follow in their day of competition tomorrow!
