Hello! Um… my name is Chitterskit! I’m a ratfolk! I’m two feet tall, have grey fur, and I’m an adult. I live in a town called Hallowgrove. It exists between worlds. Apparently it’s where souls go when they have extreme trauma to heal.
My adoptive father Monty used to be an SCP Foundation guard who passed away. I’m an adult now, but I still like to follow him around. He always has snacks. He’s also stuck in his Foundation body armor. Or he is the armor now. It’s strange to watch him eat sandwiches through a helmet.
Anyway, I like to make neat gizmos and gadgets and I own a tinkering shop in town! It’s really neat, and you should come look.
I dunno how I died to get into this world, or if I was born here, but I’m happy!
O-oh! And I can sort of manifest in the living room! I’m just a bit spooky!
About Hallowgrove + Chitterskit’s Backstory
The town in which Chitterskit resides is known as Hallowgrove. When a sentient being passes during extreme or ongoing traumatic experiences, there is a chance they will be pulled into the realm. Here, the Spirit of Hallowgrove, a large white dragon who created the dimension, will aid in their emotional healing journey. Some residents lose their memories to begin life anew whilst healing the residual trauma kept in their bodies, whilst others continue from where they left off to heal within a more peaceful and protected environment.
Chitterskit’s life before Hallowgrove took place in the SCP Foundation, where she languished in captivity until the town took her upon her passing. Her adoptive father Monty had known her in life before his own demise at the hands of a dangerous anomaly, and decided to raise the newly reborn ratfolk kit in order to atone for his hand in her pain.
