On my sixth month - I've started my love affair with solid food. It felt weird at first, but once I got the hang of it, I'd rather take the spoon and feed myself. Mommy takes so long to give me the next spoonful! - Daddy took me for a dip in the pool. I HATED it. It was toooo cold!! Turn on the heater please! - I was baptized a few weeks ago. It did not start well for me. They wet my head with water, then put drops of oil on my hair. And they made me wear a DRESS. Was not pleased. You will see evidence of the injustice in the photos that were taken after. The luncheon was fun though! I was so happy meeting everyone that I got super hyped and eventually dozed off an hour into the party. - A lot of silly things make me laugh, especially those weird sounds people make when they cough and sneeze. - Weekends are the best. I say yay weekend!

On my third month: - I am better at holding my head up by myself now. I love it when my daddy plays "airplane" with me. Best of all, I looove looking in the mirror! - I've met so many of my daddy's and mommy's friends. It's exciting to meet people and "talk" to them! - I've logged some thousands of miles of travel so far. I came home to Manila and discovered traffic -- it's nasty! - I have a humongous appetite. I can out-drink anyone in a milk-drinking contest, any day. - I am able to sleep for longer periods and can usually make myself go back to sleep when I wake up. - sometimes baths are fun, sometimes it's a chore. It depends on my mood, really. - on Valentine's Day, I gave my very first bouquet of flowers. My mommy loved it! (at One Rockwell West Tower)

On my 2nd month: - I can now see people around me. I am fascinated by my animal friends hanging on the mobile - I get hungry every 2 hours and will scream my lungs out if I don't get to eat ASAP. What can I do? I'm a growing boy! - I like taking naps in people's arms. I don't like sleeping in my own bed these days. - I'm learning how to suck my thumb -- errr -- my fist. Now, if only I can keep myself from hitting my nose or my eye every time I try! - I looove "talk to Pio time". I have so many stories to tell. If only you can understand what my coos mean. - I am still struggling with gas ;-) #piomateo #piomio #tinybud (at Brandon, Florida)
