Amidst all the roars, grunts, and groans from his fellow Cobras, Johnny couldnt help but smile as he watched Daniel's victories. Bit by bit, he saw the boy eliminate his rivaling teams, with not much but a few defenses and sheer luck. Johnny tried so hard to keep a straight face, but he simply could not. He allowed himself to forget the fact that he might need to fight Daniel if he caught up to his scores; for now, he'd celebrate his winnings.

The Cobras playfully smacked Johnny, lightly shoving him – some wolf-whistling "Go on, Johnny! Get your man!" Meanwhile with Daniel.. "Hey dude, I think the blond's staring at you" "Yeah? I mean, who could blame him, right?"

'Excited to see me, huh..' Johnny thought, a sly grin growing on his face. There he was – Daniel Larusso – standing on the Golf n' Stuff lobby, looking around for a certain blond Californian wearing a predictable red jacket; Johnny thought he was embarassingly early for their date, but apparently he was beat. Daniel poked his head in all directions, barely masking his anticipation; if Johnny were to be honest, he would be in Daniel's position as of now, if he weren't to be here yet. But Daniel didn't need to know that 'The punk wouldn't live it down', he thought with a chuckle. It was a good thing he chose to come later; now, he would be the one to constantly tease him for this.

Johnny isn't even listening to what Daniel was saying anymore, lost in his train of thought for the man in front of him.

"hey, Larusso! wanna join us?" johnny called, a wide smile forming on his face as he caught the boy's attention. Daniel −albeit quite shy− readily accepted Johnny's offer, reciprocating the grin he gave him. johnny didn't care that his friends were doubtful of daniel's soccer abilities; he didn't ask him to join to win, he just needed an excuse to spend more time with the boy. 'hopefully,' johnny thought, 'i could tackle him down. in the name of sport, of course.."

the new boy was struggling to unload his stuff from the car, exposed tan arms flexing slightly as he tugged at his bike. brown hair, doe-eyed, lean-figured.. johnny just might show the kid around the place; y'know, just helping out, no other reason..

amongst all the shouts of complaints, johnny rose from the table of nerds he was tormenting; he saw daniel, eyeing him for god knows how long, and figured he needed some company. he grabbed a nerd's milk carton, locking eyes with larusso. "give me that, twerp. i need it for larusso.." daniel - despite being caught - did not cease his staring; in fact, he stared even more, maintaining his eye contact with johnny.

he considered. maybe he wouldnt mind johnny lawrence, especially when he looks like this.
