Chinese Society

Welcome to CS 2012! Chinese Society is a non-profit culturally and socially integrated university club with over 1,000 student members established throughout University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Murdoch University and Edith Cowan University. We cater to all students interested in Chinese Culture and are interested in learning Chinese as a language. Our club organizes and holds events ranging from social, charity and to sporting. We hold charity sporting events, annual karaoke competitions and social events where the profits are either donated to charity or spent on improving our events to become bigger and better than the last. Upon signing up to CS, all persons will receive a membership card identifying them as a member of our club. Sponsors and supporters of our club are listed on our cards which provides a great opportunity to expose your business publicly to over 1000 students throughout Universities in Perth. Our sign-ups are mostly done on Orientation Days at the respective Universities however all persons are welcome to join at any time of the year. We have a well-organised and energetic committee Team that also spreads across the Universities with whom people can come in contact with and sign-up with our club if they missed out on any Orientation Day. Orientation Day provides new and current university students with the opportunity to join clubs and societies that catch their interest. As a well-respected and well-known club throughout campuses, CS seeks to sign up over 1000 student members in 2012, providing each member with a membership card and a free "goodie-bag" which will contain aspects of the Chinese culture, define who we are, and why our club is different to the others. We aspire to be something big. Join us, there's something for everyone! You don't have to be Chinese to join and everyone is welcome :D
