About the blog:

Welcome to the menagerie! This is a sort of pseudo-askblog where you can ask questions about and to my plethora of critters and OCs (mostly ‘mons). There will probably be less finished drawings for responses and more sketches and text, just to account for my energy levels. This is here for everyone to have fun and interact with characters I don’t have an askblog for, so feel free to send any questions or interactions you want!

As a note for this blog in particular, any profiles with “???” in place of information likely haven’t been decided yet. Which means YOU can help decide the future of the character! Feel free to recommend things!

Blog rules:

Asks are welcome from any blogs, even non-ask blogs. This blog works on the idea that the multiverse is a thing, so anyone can ask!

Keep questions relatively PG-13. Swearing is fine, blood and gore is fine, but sexytimes are not allowed. Romance and flirting is fine, as long as it doesn't go too far.

Any posts with sensitive material will be tagged, no worries. If you want something particular tagged that I missed, let me know!

This is not a place for drama or hate. Asks with such will be deleted. Blogs that continue to send such things will be blocked. Everyone is equal here. If you can't respect that, leave.

A Mewtwo that was surprisingly made in an ethical lab. She currently works as a doctor in the lab that created and raised her.

Only activates his ability if needed. He doesn’t want to scare patients.

Currently caring for some Pokémon that were victims of a far less ethical lab.

Formerly an unfortunate Poochyena who was the runt of the litter and abandoned by his pack, very nearly dying trying to survive. Spectra gifted him a Cursed Chain and made him her retainer, healing him and granting him power.

Out of the three retainers, is the support in battle. Doesn’t like to fight, but puts his all into supporting his friends.

Easily gets anxious and tends to over-worry. The youngest of the retainers, he cries often.

Out of the three retainers, is the defender in battle. Will only strike if necessary.

Rather passive and isn’t bothered by much. Often the voice of reason.

Has a stutter as a result of his prior head injury. He can get around it via telepathy, and so doesn’t speak aloud often.

Out of the three retainers, is the attacker in battle. Will crush foes underfoot if they do not concede.

Very protective of his friends. Has been known to start fights if his friends are even vaguely threatened. Often has to be reigned in.

Feels threatened by Steel types, which makes him even more aggressive toward them.

Incredibly proud of his appearance, doesn’t care if others think he’s an abomination of nature. They can say what they want, he knows he’s pretty~

(As a note, in this universe the Galar fossils are still chimeras, but are fully functional and not in constant pain or anything like that. Pokémon DNA is particularly adaptable, so the two halves just worked together to make a new creature. They look weird, but they’re just another Pokémon!)

Named because she’s the same color as a fried egg. Egg, omelette, same thing.

A gentle giant, she’ll let smaller ‘mons or kids just crawl all over her. Likes ferrying little ones across water.
