I just watched one of my miis confess his love extravagantly on the ferris wheel, get rejected, grieve in his room just to announce he's not giving up and going to spend all his life savings on an expensive gift to win their heart. Immediately goes to confess again, not only does the other mii not show up but they send someone else to reject him, he gets superdepressed and I give him a bazillion gifts to cheer him up. Finally gets him out of the pit of hell that is heartbreak, just for him to bump into his crush immediately after and fall in love all over again.

Not only that, then I get a cutscene where he's annoyingly clingy of his crush and keeps running after them until said crush runs home to escape.
