I RP characters that are true villains so why are we hating on a fictional, consenting couple? It has nothing to do with the person’s abuser. I definitely understand if they are squicked out and uncomfortable with the subject, but that doesn’t mean every instance of the subject is therefore bad.
Now if I were writing something like Shanan x Lakche where he’s actively pressuring and manipulating her into something when he’s also helped raise her, that’s another story. I don’t like that ship even as Oosawa portrays it because he raised her as a father figure.
Ari and Altenna is a weird case where it doesn’t bug me so much about how they grew up, unlike Leaf and Nanna. But it’s definitely something that needs to be approached on a case by case basis.
