“I don’t get to be in the game while my fucking goldigging whore of an aunt-in-law does!? Are you fucking KIDDING me!?” Audrey said, before muttering several curses in French. “She’s not even a Belrose by blood! Ugh... my uncle, he’s not a bad person really; he took me in when I was kicked out and basically exiled by my family when I was 16 to live halfway across the world, you know? And he was supportive of the transgender thing, but that fucking whore... I mean I don’t think she’s prejudiced, we just ignored eachother all the time and she just rolled with it ‘till I was living on my own. But like, fuck!”

“I was in the fucking original game AND even that fucking shitty-ass camgirl one! And Ms. Jessie gets to be in this one, but not me!? And that new goth bitch!? And that girl that’s just like, a caricature of the,” she actually rose her hands “~SJWs~ for you people with the maturity of fucking five year olds to make fun of!? What the FUCK!?”

She was also kind of drunk.

   Dawn winced at the girls words. Both from the vulgarity of it, and how deadly honest she is. Dawn is no saint herself, but she isn’t used to language considered rude being tossed around so casually. It made her frown a bit– but she get it’s just a case of a culture difference. The woman sounds a lot more informed on the coordinating culture then the typical outsider… and Dawn could feel she’s genuinely worried. 

     “I’ll… I’ll be fine.” She reaches into her pink bag, taking out a Granola bar and unwrapping it, her attention focused on it.

    “It’s not like i’m denying myself of food.” She doesn’t. She just heavily limits herself.

“Like fuck you’re fine,” Audrey scolded the coordinator, the trainer leaning against the wall as she looked at the Granola bar in her hands. Oh, that was pissing her right the fuck off; this discussion of eating and that’s what Dawn had? She muttered something in Kalosian, even though Dawn could not understand it, it was clear from her tone it was several obscenities in quick succession.

“- so then the guy asks how big my dick is, so I throw my fucking drink in his face and storm off. Fucking hate men so goddamn much, I swear to fucking God!”

Audrey groaned as she huffed on her cigarette, angrily blowing the smoke out of her lungs. “Free drinks and food ain’t worth that shit, you know?” She vented out, before sighing.

“British lineage, American raised, why?”

“Always hated Brits; I think its the French blood in me,” she said, taking out a cigarette. “Always hated Yankees too. But here I am, a French living in Yankeeland. So I guess I don’t got much room to complain, huh?” She didn’t know why she was talking to this woman... honestly? She thought she was just bored.

“I was thinking; what if there is nothing left? What if there’s nothing outside of Vein and this is as good as its gonna fucking get?”

Audrey closed her eyes, lighting her cigarette and inhaling. In truth, since becoming a Revenant, she didn’t feel the nicotine high from the act of smoking anymore, once one of her greatest vices. But still, something about it felt... calming nonetheless, mentally. There weren’t many cigarettes left, so she took the ones she could get her hand on as something special in her heart.

“Oi, isn’t it obvious? I’m here for fucking blood beads.”

Audrey growled behind her gas mask, glaring down the fellow Revenant, her greatsword in one hand. She sat against a wall, slightly injured but not such that she needed to return to a Missile to regenerate. “This place is goddamn swarming with the Lost; its been a long time since I’ve seen so many in one place. I really think there might be blood beads down there... Dammit, I thought I finally had a good claim out here!”

Shit, she had a point. The last thing Jolyne wanted was to get in trouble at the momment, it’s been a while since she last did and these calm times weren’t that bad. Taking a break of confusion from time to time was a good thing.

But yeah, the girl definitely wouldn’t just let this pass. Jolyne clinched her fists and walked to the exit of the shop with her heels hitting hard on the floor. Then with the help of her stand, she threw a bunch of products there was on a shelf nearby on the redhead. Not enough to hurt her badly, but at least to teach her a lesson. 

Then she turned with a fake suprised face “Oh no! It’s just like that movie, Paranormal Activity! Better get out here!” And left before the other could do anything. From the camera point of view, it would really look like the movie since her stand wouldn’t show up.

“... Hmm?”

Audrey blinked a few times, especially as she noticed the objects coming towards her. “Putain?” Fuck?

Her eyes narrowed as random shit started flying around, and she narrowed her eyes. “Sorry, but I don’t watch stupid shit like that,” she growled out, a certain familiar aura growing around her.

“ 「Halestorm.」 “

She smirked, the ugly thing materializing on her back; catching a bag of chips and letting out a high-pitched scream, audible only to the user and any nearby Stand users; Jolyne.

“The skimpiness aside... What’s it like? You know, being a magical girl?” Audrey finally brought herself to ask the older woman, arms crossed as she looked her way. It was rare, for the rudeness to dissipate from her voice, but here she was.

“What the fuck do you mean they’re only paying you in tips!?”

Audrey knew there wasn’t any particular reason to care; life in the Wasteland was short and brutal more often than not, and she had better things to do than care about the problems of other people. But there was something about what she just heard that really pissed her off.
