OOC: A Brief(ish) Update from Ayla-mun

Hello all!

Just wanted to check in here to let you guys know that I'm still around. I've just been busy with irl things and what-not, but I'm pretty much always lurking if not interacting. I do love seeing you all on my dash, I'm glad to know our Chrono crew is still kicking!

That being said: you can always feel free to drop by my ask, or @ me in posts/threads or even shoot me a message.

Unfortunately for the moment Ayla has kind of taken a backseat to other interests of mine, so longer threads would be tough for me, but lighter stuff is dandy. C:

"SHIIIIIIIIT!!!" A freaking DINOSAUR?? Where the hell did she land?? Her attempts to process her situation were hampered slightly by her efforts to NOT GET FUCKING EATEN. She tares a path through the jungle, leaping across treetops, slicing through vines and branches, and hucking the occasional Thunder spell to clear out rocks and smaller predators.

Ayla had been chasing jungle fauna for sport nearby when her ears picked up the sound of commotion nearby. Dropping the pursuit of her previous chase, she went bounding in the direction of the noise to investigate. She used the lower hanging limbs of trees to climb up higher in order to get a better view of whatever was coming this way.The first thing she noticed was the magic-casting stranger sprinting through the jungle, followed then by the dinosaur hot on her tail. Immediately she knew she had to help. She perched on the tree limb above the path, ready to pounce. As soon as the dinosaur was within striking range, she leaped from her position with a roar and came down upon the beast, striking a mighty blow right on the top of its skull.She rolled back from her attack as it toppled over comically, hitting the ground with a satisfying thud.

*Crono appears with Dactyl* "Adventure time?" He asks with a big smile.

Ayla beams and leaps up onto the dactyl’s back, ready to go. She pumps a fist in the air excitedly.“Ayla adventure Crono!” She cheers.

Dactyl’s wings start to go up and down, moving the air around him until they were high enough to just glide through the air. The most perfect sky in the whole time was with no doubt, the one from prehistory. Not to talk about the air, the purest ever breathed.

According to Crono’s indication’s, Dactyl went to what once was Tyranno Lair. The crater was still there, with an undeveloped Lavos hundred of miles below.

—There’s a new portal here!—Said Crono while going down from Dactyl—I came to visit but as soon as I saw it, I thought that you wouldn’t forgive me if I went there without you! haha

The portal in question was indeed, in the middle of the crater. It’s color was diferent than the usual, it was… red.

Ayla jumped down from Dactyl as well, eyeing the strange red portal. The discovery of a new portal was alarming. Ayla could never really wrap her mind around the crazy things, but she knew they were important, and this one was even a different color, so she figured it was of some significance and definitely cause for investigation.

She circled the portal warily, looking over it with suspicion and curiosity.

"We see where portal go?" She asked, looking to Crono expectantly.
