Pearls by Sade is probably my favorite song ever it gives me shivers every-time, real women everyday are experiencing situations JUST like that and yet it’s rarely even mentioned in the western world because people have the privilege to NOT EVEN KNOW of these women’s suffering.

I’m so sick of this “man hater” femme fatale aesthetic going around because they literally just play into what men want and act like it’s suddenly subversive and feminist because “oh I know they want this and I’m gonna use it” yeah they never use it to their advantage and always just end up serving men’s interests.
