I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.

Yeah, you read correctly, I said Sims 3 :)

Disclaimer: This mod is not an all in one solution for lag; Essential improvements like NRaas mods, Graphics Rules and 4GB patching your game are still recommended, and your mileage may vary depending on your system. Some people don’t see much change, others see a huge improvement.

This mod makes the game’s logic threads run faster, speeding up loading of Buy/Build and CASt, smoother UI elements, smoother CAS. Can also speed up live mode and loading, it’s essentially a general improvement.

Steam/Disk version: SFS / Dropbox

Simply unzip the file into your “The Sims 3/Game/Bin” folder.

Origin version: SFS / Dropbox

For Origin, unzip the file into your “The Sims 3/Game/Bin” folder, and launch the game from “TS3PatchLauncher.exe” every time you want to play.

The launcher will attempt to boot as administrator if possible, to ensure the patch goes through.

You can configure the mod by editing the TS3Patch.txt file with notepad.

I left comments in that file on how to set it up if you’re having any issues or if you think your computer is good enough to increase the speed. 

You can increase the Delay value by around 1000-5000 if the patch is failing.

There you can also toggle Borderless if you run your game windowed and set an FPS Limit if your GPU doesn’t allow you to do so already.

The changes are most noticeable in CAS: Smoother body sliders, Sim rotation and quicker switching of clothes.

I’ve been mad at EA for not including rideable dragons in Dragon Valley for YEARS. But it wasn’t until I recently marathoned the new Burn the Witch/Bleach anime that I finally got the idea to make the stupid things as broomsticks for witches! (－‸ლ)

And so here we are, at long last! \(^0^)/

I included fully recolorable variations of all 4 of EA’s default dragon types (red, purple, green, and black), as each of them has different horns & stuff.

Found under Vehicles. They’re cloned from the Nimbus 2000 the best broomstick, for maximum draconian aerodynamic velocity!

As should come as no surprise, these dragon brooms REQUIRE THE SUPERNATURAL EXPANSION PACK.

A tiny set for wild life, with a leaf tent (coming with 3 different types of foliage, so you can adapt it to the climate), a fire camp (in wood or bamboo/green material), a decorative waterfall, and a couple of stones (both recolorable) that will work as a shower. Why just few stones? Because you’ll be able to use them with other waterfalls if you want, you’re free! ;)

There are two versions of the Torso, one version is compatible with Ea bottoms, and the other version is only compatible with Piers bottom. So, the NEaC bottom and top are only compatible with each other.

Today I’m happy to release Praaven Reworked, a new version of Praaven by jje1000/potato-ballad-sims, edited by Simsmidgen and me. As usual this project took longer than expected. But with the help of our many fantastic testers all is well that ends well.

Simsmidgen and I tweaked some things more to our liking, replaced broken CC, reduced the overall amount of required CC, recoloured EA objects and/or replaced them, fixed major routing issues, reduced world file size, replaced/fixed all those bloody arches and stacked staircases, thinned spawners, improved terrain painting (at least we think so). We added the two festival lots by lowrisim and tweaked them a bit and also made sure that the tomb can be solved (yes, there is a tomb, go looking for it!). We tried to leave the world as original as possible though (apart from the things that didn’t work well). Public release is with permission of potato-ballad-sims.
